While the mantra of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is to kick gluteus maximus and take names, it also is pretty good at something else: being an absurdly powerful every day sedan. While that may seem a little odd to you, that's just what the folks of Top Speed found when they drove the penultimate midsize for a week.
Of course, we strongly doubt that drivers ever would acquire the Hellcat for such a use. After all, the 2015 allotment of models sold out so fast that Dodge is still scrambling to finish back orders, while expanding production for 2016. But if you watch the video below, you'll find that this is more than just a race track car designed to burn rubber.
