When Chrysler isn't too busy keeping our Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Tri-Cities showroom stocked with the newest variety of models, it often works on side projects that deal more directly with the community. This time around Chrysler is spreading the knowledge of health and wellness, and teaming up with the other organizations that are helping to make this possible.

Through a partnership with Kaiser Permanente, a leader in health advocacy, the two companies worked closely with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ). Chrysler wanted to ensure it was really making a difference with its efforts, and if anyone was persuasive enough to do so, it would be a group of skilled journalists. The three parties gathered embarked on this mission at the Excellence in Journalism national conference that recently took place in Anaheim, CA.

With over 1,500 journalists in attendance, Chrysler and Kaiser Permanente led an interactive seminar about the proper initiatives that can be taken to ensure a healthier future for multicultural communities. They went over best practices, nutrition, exercise and the importance health plays in leading a successful lifestyle.

For Chrysler, this is simply just the start of its involvement with healthy initiatives. To learn more about its efforts, you can follow the automaker on Twitter by searching the hashtag #chryslerwellness. Other projects include participating in wellness challenges, improving workplace culture and inspiring healthier practices amongst its employees.

This year has proved to be quite a busy one for Chrysler. Come see for yourself by visiting our Kennewick, WA dealership to check out what the new Chrysler lineup has to offer. We'd be happy to show you around, answer questions about our current Chrysler specials, and schedule test drives with the vehicles that catch your eye!
